Medical Testing

At Flourish Medical + Wellness we take a holistic approach to medicine. Therefore, we offer more testing options than the typical blood work labs. What this means for you is that we can use clinical results to determine the cause of physical symptoms you may be experiencing. These deeper-dive options will help us see the full picture of your health and create a personalized treatment plan.

Why We’re Different

Most of the initial consultations at FMW include a comprehensive blood panel. This panel gives us a deep dive into the following: gut health, toxin load, parasitesdetoxification pathways, adrenal function, nutrient deficiencies, insulin resistance, sex hormone balance, and complete thyroid function. These levels serve as a helpful guide that enables us to better understand what is taking place internally. However, we do not simply treat the number (result) on the page, rather we assess lab values along with presenting symptoms.

What This Means for You

Our in-depth testing provides a more complete picture and improves our patient outcomes. The interpretation of the lab results is likely much different than what you’ve experienced in the past. We will discuss each one in detail and compare you to other healthy individuals (optimal levels) rather than just comparing you to the ‘normal’ range. We work toward optimization in order to proactively prevent disease and keep your health moving in a positive direction.

Testing We Offer

InBody Scan

A person standing on a body composition scale, displaying their measurements on a screen.

The InBody 380 analyzes your body composition in just 30 seconds and provides you with a comprehensive set of results that you can use to better understand your body and what it needs. It Reveals:

  • Percentage and pounds of muscle mass
  • Percentage and pounds of fat mass
  • Extra/intracellular water which helps us to identify Inflammation that is present in the body
  • Which areas of the body need more focus and attention during workouts
  • Visceral fat level, which is a risk factor for diabetes, heart disease, and metabolic syndrome
  • Your BMR (base metabolic rate): this helps us to understand how many calories your body will burn at rest each day, allowing us to create a customized nutrition plan for your weight loss goals.
